Corporate Audit Staff

In 1996 and 1997, I was part of The Coca-Cola Company's  International Corporate Audit Department.  For more than 700 days straight, I lived out of hotels and ate at restaurants on Company expense.  Yes, at times it was glamorous but at the same time, it was just mundane audit work.  Though we wanted local managers to believe we were there to help them and transfer best practices between Coke offices, they just mostly saw us as plain old auditors out to find all the dirt on them.

However, one of the perks of the job were the weekends.  Those we had free and we were encouraged to get out and see the world.  In the two pages below, I have taken excerpts out of my Christmas letters showing you what I did on all those free weekends.  You will soon realize how I was able to visit more than 70 countries and territories in this small world of ours.
